Why is a bar called a pub?

Until 1970 the pub was a place where serving foods were not started and concentrated mainly on drinking. The pub is a building where beer and other drinks are served.

Whereas bar is an inner part of the pub. Many pubs are often divided into bar and lounge. The bar was traditionally a public place where men would gather and drink. So basically if you are in any pub at any part of the world you have to need to go the bar generally to get served.

In the bar at the counter, there occurred to be high stools where mainly older males would come and chillax with their favourites. Often the place remains quiet and dull, sometimes sports are aired on the television.

The bar is another name for the service at the counter in the pub where beverages are served. Now there are carvers daily in many pubs. Bar and pub have become a one place stop due to synonymous word.

If you are lucky you would find that a pub arranged a session of music with local musicians playing music ranging from classic blues to jazz. This occurs mainly at night for tourist attraction. In some part, local musicians are hired at the weekends or set a fixed day of the week.
